Default Denim Black Paint...

Those of you with the denim black paint on your HD, how is the up keep on it? Is it easy to take care of or do you find it harder to keep clean? Also, when it does get dirty, how much of a pain in the butt is it to give it a good washing? Thanks, I'm still looking at a couple bikes but both have the denim paint on it.

I think most people just use windex to clean it...

Very easy to keep up. Very easy to clean.

HD recommendation:
Spot cleaning. Ammonia based window cleaner
Final Detailing: Dish detergent dilluted.

My personal recommendations for denim black and wrinkle black:
Ammonia Based Window Cleaner for Black Denim
For wrinkle black/engine: Pig Spit, Simple Green

Easiest bike to keep clean, cause you dont need anything really expensive and household products (besides PIG SPIT)

I have had a vivid black and now a denium black, the denium is much easier and needs washing less.

Looooooove the black denim.

Very easy to maintain.

Probably only washed (full on - bucket, soap, dry detail) my bike 4 times all year and it never really looks dirty. Wipe the tins down with some windex when they look a little dusty.

I get a lot of compliments on it everywhere I go.

Thanks for the great responses! That just puts my mind a little more at ease. It sounds like it's not going to be bad at all to take care of. Those of you who have a lot of miles on your denim black bikes, where your legs rub the tank, is the finish changing at all or does it still look the same? Thanks again...
