Default Removing belt guard?

Any issues removing the stock belt guard? I really like the look without. I do ride two up often. Please explain any issues this may cause. Thanks.

I don't run mine and no issues for me... even 2 up. But there is a thread about a hole in the belt caused by a rock getting stuck in it. Still mine will never be going back on.

I only use a short upper one. It does look better without it, no problems

Anything that gets between the belt and the pulley could go right on through them. most times its fine, just the one in a thousand that could mess things up.

A larger rock or something could get stuck between the outside of the belt and the guard causing the same kind of problems? But most times are fine...
