Default 12.5" Wild 1 Apes

I'm thinking about putting 12.5" Apes on my Fat Boy. I know that the dimensions of the Wild 1 bars are wider than what the stock FB bars are. Anyone with the similiar setup think the bars are too wide?

Get taller ones. Once you get used to those you'll be begging for some 16"'s. That is what happened to a couple of friends, and they had to shell out for new cables and bars again. Otherwise, you cannot go wrong with wild ones.

I've been running the Wild 1 12.5" for a little while now and I like them alot. They are tall enough for my taste but it's all about opinions. The width is spot on for me as well.

I know I am going to have to find a bike with a similiar set up and find what feels right.

I put 12.5" wild ones on this summer and my only regret is that I didn't do it sooner.

I just bought all of my set up from Hill Country Customs. Made it easy... They have cable/line kits for every size. Super fast shipping as well.

I have read a few posts where some people were not happy overall from HCC. I take it they were good to you?
