Default Rocker Front Tire

Anyone run a 100/90-19 on the front? Stock is 90/90-19. Just curious as to any differences in the ride with a slightly wider tire in the front. Give forth your knowledge

I've changed the rear +1 and really couldn't tell any difference, maybe a little slower cause its taller most of the time also,,, I changer brands on the front once yrs ago and hated the results because it fell off easier. bout lost it several times in slow turning as it just wanted to fall over way to easy...

Definitely a good choice for the Rocker. Cornering feels a lot more solid and smoother. The hard parts hitting the road will sneak up on you more, so I learned to drag my heel a little to feel the road before contact.

I know it probably makes sense that it would be better, but I recently got caught in a country ride down pour that quickly just turned to slop after a long period of no rain, and I gotta say I really had no issues...a buddy of mine with a 120 was battling more than I was and I definately would consider him a much more experienced rider...(on HD's anyway)

If I changed it would oonly be for asthetics..

I was surprised as to how safe I felt...

just my 2c tho...

I am running a Metzeler Front ME 880 100/90H-19 Blackwall Tire on my bike and have noticed two differences in the ride: 1) The ride seems more stable (less bounce and shimmy), and 2) it handles the corners better and has more grip.

Change the front wheel and GO BIG! I'm running a Metzler 120/70 - 21 and it handles great.

By hard parts I mean peg then pipe tips on right, pegs then kickstand and finally primary cover on left. The Rocker gives you lots of warning as you approach the edge of it's cornering ability but when carrying lots of speed maybe not quite enough. I let my heel hang down lower than my foot pegs so I can feel the road with the bottom of my heel before the pegs hit the road.
This is especially helpful when riding with passenger or touring luggage and riding on uneven roads. My shocks are set on the stiffest setting and I still bottom out the suspension pretty hard. I only weigh 175lbs so I am disappointed on how soft the stock shocks are, I will upgrade to progressive shocks one day. I hope this helps explain what I mean, pics of hard parts below.

I do believe everyone gets the point now, by the looks of them photos I would say you have found your limits.
