Default need help

This is my first thread ever, hope I do this right.
I need help picking new tires. I am a new rider a don't like how the Dunlops (402s) ride. I have 02 Softail Sandard, with a superbrace fork brace and progressive front spring stock hight. I like to try Dunlops E3 but they don't make my size 80-90-21. They do make a tire 90-90-21, will that fit? With out problems! OR do Avon or Metzler work better on this bike. Like to find a tire that helps me ride better. I HATE tar snakes!
Thank you for input and help.

Stay away from metzelers they're now made in brazil I think and the quality sucks. I had two rear tires develop bumps in the middle . Get some Avons or Dunlops.

Avon's are nice and sticky, so are Metzlers. I ahve used both and had no problems with either. I found them both to be far stickier and smoother riding than the dunlops. Order from American Moto Tire . com Great prices and inexpensive shipping.

with the skinny front tire you will feel the tar snakes no matter what tire you run, when I had my FXSTC I ran the Harley dunlops and had good results

as far as tire size
the 1st number listed(90), is the width of the tire in mm.

the 2nd number(90) is the height of the tire in percentage.
the tire is 90% of the width high. in this case approx. 81 mm tall.
and obviously, the last number(21) is the rim size.

in a nutshell, the tire your looking at is slightly wider & taller than the one you're currently running. no reason you can't mount it up & run it.

i hate tar snakes too
