I take it you are using the AMSOIL Syn in all 3 holes?, hence the "quieter shifts"?

For reference, what were you using before?

Yeah.....in all three holes. I wasn't going too but the dealer had a way of talk'n me into it. I was using all Harley oil before but not Synthetic. My dipstick use to be extremely hot to the touch......much cooler now. I noticed the quieter shift right off the bat. So far so good!

Been using Amsoil in all 3 holes for quite a few years now and I totally agree. Runs somewhat cooler and I like the shifting.

Yea I agree with you all,I've got it in all 3 holes and I percieve it to be an improvement,Saw a lot of nasty stuff being said yesterday when a guy posted about Amsoil And I was going to give my oppinion but figured I'd stay out of it cause I might've got pissed if somebody called me a salesman for Amsoil or a born again follower like the haters seem to think users of Amsoil are.

I use Bel Ray for the trans and no wine or clank and I can find neutral. I use Motor FactoryŽ Primary Case Lube in the primary. because Amsoil has gone up so much I just switched to Mobil 1 for vtwin and it works as good. I have 42,000 miles in about 2 years and it runs great and no debris in the oil changes.

also fram oil filter from wal-mart. i use the one with the valve to keep the oil from draining out of the head
