I hope someone can help with this. I just got finished swapping my stock pipes on my 03 FLSTC with the V&H Big Shot Longs but had a few extra bolts left over. I followed the instructions, at least I'm pretty sure I did. I couldn't find an upper mounting bracket for the stock pipes attached to the swing arm pivot bolt or one attached with torx bolts as the instructions mention, so I didn't use either spacers/bolts. Also I found that I didn't need the two 3/8" x 3/4" flange bolts to attach the supplied bracket to the frame because it lined up perfectly with the two bolts on the frame, so I reused the stock washer and nuts to mount it to the frame.

I'm sorry to be so long winded on this, but has anyone else ran into this situation? I want to make sure my pipes are secured properly to the bike.
