thank you guys for all the good feedback ... I am happy he is enjoying the seat ... he went out of his way to send me his old seat so I could get my seat pan guy something to make a template from .... cheesecake didnt even know I was going to send him out a seat till I got all his stuff at the house .. just really shows you that there are some good people out there who really just love to ride and like helping other out ...

The battery cover is mine.....it's William wallaces (braveheart) sheild design.the tank bib is wallaces sword with Latin script around the primeter.I will post proper pics once it's totaly finished and on the bike.can I just say that shaun has the patience of a saint.....I changed my mind a few times on this and he never got pissy or moaned he just produced fine work and went above and beyond the call of duty on more than one ocassion.shaun you are a legend buddy I can't thank you enough.

I dont know about a legend .. very kinda of you to say though ...just trying to stay busy and make some people happy ... years of turning wrenches for pissed off people with broken cars , its a change to see people happy about spending money ...

Yes... I did cut off the rear tang on the part that mounts to the seat... the front tang fits into the slot on the seat...

I just spoke with Shaun today, he is going to do a Bones seat and recover my pillion, seems like a great guy and his work also looks great, I'll post a pic to show his work when I get it. Kind of cool to call someone and actually have them answer the phone and sound interested in what you want.

gymrat , thats cause I am excited ... I do about 30 of those solo bags for every 1 seat I get an order for ... I guess I just dont market my self as a seat guy ... so when I get a seat order in its a good change of pace ...

Shaun, great work. I just started a thread about moding my stock seat. If I can get the seat reworked like I want, I'll get with you on making a cover. It's a stock fatboy seat, but hopefully won't be that way for long.
