Default has anyone put fender rails on their heritage?

i saw a picture here the other day of somebody's heritage with the front and rear fender rails. i love the look of that. has anyone here installed the rails themselves? was it pretty straight forward?

Had them on my '93 Heritage..If I remember it was pretty much an easy install...but then again..I do not remember what I had for lunch yesterday! LOL

IMHO....I just bought a 2010 Heritage..I am not going to put the rails on this one..I think without the rails is a "cleaner" look!

i dunno brother- the '93 looks cooler than the other side of the pillow with the rail. don't get me wrong, its not like something is "missing" without them, but....

I don't want another add on that takes another 1/2 hr to polish and clean...got enough now.

The nostalgia floor boards are a PITA to clean and polish.

Here you go. I didn't put them on myself, though. I understand that a bit of drilling might be involved. They add a lot to the look, in my opinion, especially in the rear, where they help fill the space between the fender and the bags (wider on my bike, with the detachable kit on it).

I don't trust myself with a drill.
So by default, I prefer a cleaner look . . . LoL

I'd take the chrome fork struts over the fender rails anyday, but everybody has different taste.

That's part of the fun when you own a Harley!
