Well, it took a month but the dealer took care of me. I'm now leak free! I gave it the good ole high speed run just to make sure.

 

great news. at least she fixed but thats a bite it took that long.

I really didn't let the bike set there for a month. After nearly two weeks I got all tensed up and took my bike back and said when you get the parts I'll bring it back...I know you understand my line of thinking on this.

They didn't bat an eyelash either...said "no problemo".

I'm giving the dealer a 10 of 10 on the whole thing because getting the tank was out of their control. They were really empathetic in that here in AridZona this IS the time to ride and even encouraged me to get the bike out of the shop.

 

A buddy of mine has an 08 night train, and had the same problem. The weld where the filler tube is welded to the tank had a pin hole and when he would corner hard, it would leak. He took it to the dealer and they replaced the oil tank.
