looking for a back rest 2010 fatboy lo what is good the meduim low back rest or the short. i really do not want anything to tall i will get the one i can take off and on ............

My backrest is a medium low and the wife says it is too low.
If you are just going to have it on when riding 2 up, you might as well get one that is comfortable for your passenger.
Mine is detachable, but I leave it on full time. It is the best place to put my helmet, when I park..

I put on the detachable black HD backrest and pad. I think it goes well with the Lo. It's the first backrest I've had on any of my bikes. My wife digs it. I'll like it more when I get some 14" apes on in a few weeks.

Here is mine ... i just took it off. I got my wife a bike but when she rides with me i put the stock seat back on cause its nice and soft for her but and this back rest is enough to keep her from sliding off.

 

i am looking for some thing like that. that looks like the short back rest. i had the meduim lo on my 2009 lowrider he looked to big for the bike. i like your size back rest.......funny with my 2010 fatboy lo everything is black chrome lol. enjoy your bike

 

What do you want the rest for?

1) Just to keep passenger from sliding off (Get the short)

2) Make passenger comfy and put on a travel bag (Get the med. low)

I have the medium low detachable and love it the wife loves the support and I have a quick slide over the rest travel bag to carry my stuff to work in. Then when riding solo it's off and so it the pillion.
