Is anybody using a K&N air cleaner as a replacement for the stock HD SE Stage 1 air cleaner on a 2009 Fatboy? What's the K&N part number for a 2009 Fatboy? The K&N web site only mentions 2005 Fatboy for part number HD-0800.

RK-3909, or the RK-3910 large capacity.

 

K&N RK-3909 and RK-3910 appear to be the shape of the stock HD non-stage1 air cleaner. The stock HD SE Stage 1 air cleaner is in the HD assembly part number 29773-02C. Here's a picture of it:

 

K&N customer service has just confirmed that HD-0800 is the replacement for SE Stage 1 air cleaner in a 2009 Fatboy even though their web page description only mentions the 2005 Fatboy.

 

I got my HD-0800 K&N element, a few years ago, at Auto Zone, for $41.00. They didn't have it in stock but it was at the store the next day.
