Default 80 Spokes

Built a Bike on a Budget last fall. Replaced my 60 spoker for an 80 spoker to match the rear. Less cost than what I thought. Luv them wire wheels!

Been runnin' 80 spokers since '06 on this bike. I had Hallcraft Radial lace 46 spokes with 3/8 inch spokes. I found 9 cracks in the rear hub through the flange to the spoke holes! Hallcrafts went under and left me holding the bag. The front one is perfect but I went with the 80 spokers that Harley sells. I have connections and got the new wheels really cheap. I think I like these as well as the big spokes to look at, and a whole lot better for reliablity.
