As long as you are happy with what you paid all is well.

as far as what I am adding to the bike....wow....hard to list but I will do my best...

V & H Longshots
Stage 1 filter
Power Pack
Luggage Rack
Chrome Passenger Floorboard Kit
Inserts for driver and passenger floorboards
Chrome Front End as well as Chrome Switches and Housings
Braided Cables
Visor for all lights
I didn't want the engine guards so I went with the extention that comes from the floorboard and putting highway pegs on that
Brake Conversion Kit
Heel Toe Shifter Pegs
Heel Toe Shifter Arms
Brake Pedal and Insets to match
Grips
and a few others that I can't remember...
I will post pics when I get the bike.....
Thanks, HogOwner, I like the color scheme on yours. I went with the brake conversion kit. It was a five minute job. Remove seat, unplug connector and install wire harness. Replace tail light lenses. I installed the luggage rack when the seat was off. The luggage rack had a sticker that said not to put more than 10lbs. on it?

The bike rides great at all speeds and turns on a dime at low speeds.

HogOwner69,
Did you get your bike from the guys in Bellmore? The garage in your pic looks like theirs. I got an 09 Heritage from them on 8/21. Had them install the V & H Longtshots, fuel pak and engine guard. Then I went to town with some more chrome. I'd say you got a good deal. I paid more than you but they did install the V & H, I also got the profile laced wheels and big white walls, and my bike was a custom color, Big Flake Purple and Brilliant Silver. The color alone would have added about $900.00 but they took that off. Main thing is, if you're happy, just enjoy the ride!
Regards,
T

You got an average deal. Freight is $335, not $995. You can see pricing right here:

Your bike looks great. Enjoy it!!

from what I understand each harley dealership can charge their own freight price...... (I think?)

Ya, MSRP seems to be the flow these days. Harley has dropped some cool models this year and they are proud of them. But........Never be afraid to work them a bit. All they can do is say no. I will say that the FatBoy Lo is a hot model and some are charging a premium for it.

That is not correct. Freight is a charge that HD passes to the dealer, just like a charge for an option (like security, or a color, or a wheel charge). The freight charge for every bike is listed on HD's website.
