That's a really nice bike

I got 1500 off on my 09 last October but dealers have less new bikes to sell now plus Harley dropped the list $1000 on the 2010's so you did fine. I was also able to get 20% off on all accessories that I added on before pickup. Good Luck & if your up in Westchester shoot me a PM first.

I only got 10% off accessories because they took off the $995 frieght charge......

So I spent around $3000 in accessories so with the other 10% I would have saved $300 bucks so I still made out getting only 10% instead of 20%...

Can not wait to see the bike after everything I added
alot of chrome

I didn't pay the frieght/prep either. Chome, more chrome? I have a tourpak, Mustang seat & backrest, headlight visors, smoke LED's all around, laydown plate, rush slipons but V&H Double Barrels going on next week, K&N, Fuelpak, easy brackets (a must) & a few more things I can't think of. I did adjust the shocks 3 turns firmer. I suggest you do the same for 2 up riding if you do some. It looks a bit different then my sig pic now.

Dude, I have to say, I'm not a big fan of heritage softails normally but that has got to be the best looking heritage softail I have ever seen. The color combo is just awesome and the overall appearance is just timeless! You did great IMO.
+1...........

I took my XL1200L in for the 10,000 mile service and drove out with a 2009 Heritage Softail.

It was a one of a lifetime deal as the want MSRP on the 2010 models.

All said I bought it 8/31/2009 and have 1,000 miles on it. If they did not have a left over 2009, and would of left me test drive a 2010 I would of bought MSRP or more.

I love the bike.

Nice bike Recon!!!! I know around here they are giving 12% off MSRP on the 2009 models...The base price for a Heritage in 2009 was 17,999 and for the 2010 it is 16,999. HD dropped the price $1000 for the 2010 models and there was no change in the bike and thy added a few mods.....go figure...

as far as what I am adding to the bike....wow....hard to list but I will do my best...

V & H Longshots
Stage 1 filter
Power Pack
Luggage Rack
Chrome Passenger Floorboard Kit
Inserts for driver and passenger floorboards
Chrome Front End as well as Chrome Switches and Housings
Braided Cables
Visor for all lights
I didn't want the engine guards so I went with the extention that comes from the floorboard and putting highway pegs on that
Brake Conversion Kit
Heel Toe Shifter Pegs
Heel Toe Shifter Arms
Brake Pedal and Insets to match
Grips
and a few others that I can't remember...
I will post pics when I get the bike.....
