Wife loves it so far. We have a long(er) trip coming up soon. That will be the real test. It's already made a huge improvement on my "end".

Keystone -- I couldn't agree more! I just finished putting on my Mustang seat w/backrest last night. I got the narrower Sport model since I have a short inseam and I'm only 5'8" tall on a good day!! Easy to put on, very comfortable. I ordered direct from Mustang as well, they were really helpful. The sport version comes in at $600 on the dot.

Just finished looking at yours Steve. Fits the bike real nice. That backrest is great!

Putting allot of two up miles on mine. Wanted one for the long haul. After a 400 mile day on the stock one my wife was more than willing to spend the $$$ on a good seat!

Oh, and she now gets the whole Harley thing! Never thought it would happen with here, but it has............

couldn't agree more! The backrest is amazing the support it offers -- now my fiancee' has no choice but to go for a ride, the passenger pillon looks a lot nicer than the stocker....!

That's one great seat. I have the same one on my FLSTCI, which you can see here if you scroll most of the way down the page.

Two quick points, though:

First, don't believe those who say Mustang seats don't need to be broken in. It takes about 1000 for the seat to really merge with your butt.

Second, there is no leather anywhere on Mustang seats; they're all synthetic, but look like leather. Makes care and cleaning very easy, but they don't breathe as well as leather does.

I bought mine at DiscountCycleParts.com, paid a little over $600 for the 79120, 79130, and the matching wide sissy bar backpad. Good, fast service and, as I recall, free shipping as well.

Ride comfy!

Philip

Keystone, the seat looks great and all of your good input just about has me sold as well. I am almost always riding 2up. After even an hour out with the wife on the stock fatboy seats both of our bums are sore. May I ask what the trouble you had with cyclespot was? They do have some good prices on some items. I was looking at them for the Wild1 WO504 bars but have not ordered yet. What model of seat do you have? It looks like the Studded Wide Solo with Driver Backrest & Studded Wide Recessed Rear Seat
79120 and 79130.

Had to return my Mustang Seat Keystone. The sport version is really narrow and bumped me to far up on the bike. My legs kept cramping up on a shorter ride (50 to 70 miles). Mustang was good about it though. Glad your's is working out well though. My search will continue for a bit. I sat on a bike this afternoon with the same saddle as yours and again I couldn't find a comfortable position.
