Default Detachable Docking kit part # - no bags

I have the set with the studs for bags, but I don't use the bags and the studs just stick out. I need the # for detachable backrest docking kit with no studs. I've searched ebay and the dorks at the dealer say I can't get them... Buffalo Bagles, i've seen them on Fatboys and Heritages!!!!

Help a knee-grow out?

Thanks

Not sure what you mean by "studs for bags". Can you take a picture? If you need the bolts for Harley Detachable Backrest these are common, I may even have a set myself.

the docking post kit number is 53824-00
just to make it look different you can get some black hex bolts from lowes and they look good against the chrome

The studs where the bags mount stick out. This is the detchable kit with bags... I need the one without. The bag mounting studs just stick out like a sore thumb lol

Hey Bucket, all you have to do is take the studded bolts out and use the rubber pieces and washers with new bolts. I bought my bolts at my local hardware store in chrome.

You can order the fatboy kit for $40 from HD too.

the chart on harley web site says detachable without saddle bags. but your side plates may be a bit wider and may need to put a washer under the post. how far is the notch in the front post for the sideplate from the siderail?
