hey ya i love the bike! i popped out the baffles just to make it through the last few weeks of summer. this winter im hoping to install the vance and hines big shots staggered black. for a tuner im thinking of trying out the AMFD RideMaxx. so far i took off the back end of the bike so i can figure out wether i need to buy a smooth fender without the tailight and license plate mount or just take it to the body shop and get all the holes filled. i put on the street slammer bars and i have a k&N custom air filter. for the tailight i want to intigrate them into the signals just like the nightster and the wide glide. ya about the hot girl option my wife gets to ride the bike more than i do since she rides it to work everyday.

Thanks Sawinwa - public school education (D is passing) so I think I got it 60% right. Spelling count against?
One thing I did to clean up my black bike was to paint all the little bits that jumped out with some heavy duty black sign painters paint. I sat back with a beer, took a step back and looked at the bike. Every bolt or bit that jumped out got painted black. I did this after work for a few days till got em all. Painted everything from the floor board bolts to the metal on the cables near the grips to the bolts on the frame.............
It was amazing how they would just blend in with all the black with just a coat of paint.
Very subtle very cool very geekie.

If it was my fender, I would take it to a body shop and have them the holes. One of the reasons I have not moved my plate to a side-mount is because I think the covers look like cramp.
The only other consideration is safety, I ride daily, if not raining, mostly in traffic. people notice the light on the fender, because that is where they expect it to be placed. If you move it and they are not looking for it, they wont see you put on the brakes.
If I did more interstate driving or rural highways, I Would not worry about it.
I would also get some sort of auto tune ignition and forget the programmable type.
