high speed wobble "HOSPITAL WOBBLE"
#11
Havent had the joy of a good tank slapper on my Train yet but....
At a 110 I swear my bike feels like its about to lift off the road and take flight....
Seriously I cant hold it wide open for more than a hot minute as its spooky as heck..... Maybe its a combination of my solo saddlebag , crazy big Rinehart pipe and my tool bag mounted down by the Voltage Regulator creating an odd flying Night Train phenomenon? Like if I pushed for a buck twenty I may just take flight!!

Rims and tires need absolutley no runout, and perfect balance. Havn't seen one yet that was perfect in all aspects. Depending on how much runout it has will determine what speed before things go nuts. Inconsistancy in tire density throughout it's dia will effect how it behaves. If you want to go like hell, be prepared to spend some time , possibly swapping tires until you get one that behaves. With the exception of a few, most tires will work within the speed limit and give little problems. Stabilizers are the last area of correction, but it's best to take care of step #1 first and not rely completely on a stabilizer for a total fix.
