Default Need opinions: With Sissy Bar or Without???

The sissy bar was giving me some problems, so as a temporary solution, I had it cut off until I could have a better sissy bar fabricated. Now that it is cut off, I think I kind of like the way it looks without it. I would need to have nicer mounts made, but you get the general idea. So I took some pics with and without. Which do you prefer?

I am not a fan of sissy bars, but I think it's actually better WITH!

It is a 2 piece sissy bar. It split at the seam after only 1 ride. If I were to replace it with another sissy bar, it would be 1 piece of metal, stronger metal, and it would be welded to the swing arm instead of bolted on the axle.

I don't like the way the rear struts are offset. I voted without, and to take off the rear fender struts

I think I would need some kind of struts for stability. They would be nicer though. They would not be offset either, because they would no longer be axle mounted. They would be even on both sides.

I say it looks better without. The sissy bar doesn't look right without a passenger seat of some sort.

I can't see all your pics because I'm at work and the computer gurus limit access to certain things. But if they're like your sig pic, I say WITH. Now the only reason I say that is because of the pipes. It kind of completes the picture. If the pipes were cut down, to say, below the fender, then I'd say WITHOUT on the sissy bar.

i'm a fan of sissy bars but i think it looks better without it. the fender struts do look a little strange cause they are offset but that's not too big of a deal.

you still have an awesome ride man...... i love that thing !!!
