Default How about this front end on a Night Train?

Demon's cycles has this front end for a little over $500. I think it looks good. What do you guys think? It comes with the trees and lower legs.

If I was going to swap front ends I would go with inverted black.

It dose look cool as hell. But are the forks any better then stock?

I agree but this is nice for less than half the price of a black inverted kit.

Looks cool...Kinda looks Chazmanians bike. Chaz bike is one bad *** train.. I think chaz got the same effect from some labor and the price of powercoat, which should be a fraction of the price.

i think your right
if you are going to go to the extreme of having to buy a complete front end make sure it is adjustable and inverted, look on e-bay for some inverted front ends .

What did all of that cost you? I had a Road King so I am not sure on how to dismantle the front end yet. I haven't bought a service manual yet. Just bought the bike two weeks ago.

Taking the front end apart was pretty easy. I painted my lowers with some rattle can epoxy black. Haven't tore into the triple trees, but I would think that if you have a manual, it shouldn't be too bad either. You should be able to powder those pieces for quite a bit less than that $500 mark. You could paint them even cheaper. I tore the front end apart before I even got a manual. It's pretty straight forward. I'm sure Chaz will chime in anytime with some very good insight though.

How has the paint held up? I have found a guy to powder coat them for 80 bucks. But I have to take them off and allo of that. I'm open to painting them if they will hold up. Also what is the procedure for painting them? Did you have to primer them first? Let me know it does sound a lot easier.
