Default luggage rack suggestions

Hi

I have a 2005 Heritage Classic and looking for a luggage rack (chrome/removable?)

I bought one from the dealership and found out when I went home that I would need to take off the saddle bags and fender to get at the bolts on the sissy bar.

I was hoping that someone else may have run into this and have a suggestion for a rack that doesn't mean I have to start tearing things apart. Not too mechanically inclined....

thanks in advance

Rich

I dont think Ur reading the instructions correctly either..

I put the detatch sissy bar on this spring and U have to take the bags off but not the rear fender.. just the bolts that support the fender, they are longer and made for the slots that the new side plates have to use to function..

reread the instructs and see or even ask the parts guys to walk U through, also see if they have one on a bike to look at.. might help ya..

http://www.centraltexasharley.com/default.asp
is selling all the stuff at 40% to 75% off and they may have a detachable but you will need the kit unless you are looking for one that fits a sissy bar

Hi oct1949

The lower hex screws are lower than the top of the fender and there is not enough room to get a normal allen wrench in there without removing the fender.
