did'nt have to pull the wheel, just rotated it to do each bolt.

If you use a crow's foot to torque them down, remember there is a magnification of the torque when you use the crow's foot. I do not know how to figure the amount, so I would use the lower end torque range, with red loctite.
ask on here someone can tell you how to figure the calculation.
If the crows foot is set at 90* there is no correction factor. Makes it easy that way.

Unless they are short enough to clear the swingarm I won't be able to do that. I will see about this after I get my medical problem taken care of, I can barely even walk right now.

On my 97, I can get on a socket on the bolts easy. Unless they changed the hub size, you should be able to do the same. Just turn the wheel and do it one at a time.

I've done it on the bike. took off the cover and just had the clearing for 1 bolt at about the 5 O'clock position.

Maybe it is because of where the belt adjuster is or maybe it is because it is a Deuce. I said I would never own an odd duck bike again but then I was blinded by those chrome lowers. I also own an '81 FLT. Now there is a fun bike to find parts for, a 5 speed rubber mounted shovelhead that have the places I've asked about getting NOS parts for it tell me there is no such bike. The FLT was the same in 80 and 81 and then 82 and 83 are the same. Of course 84 the Evolution engine was put into that frame.
