Has anyone tried the anti-blueing stuff that you coat the inside of your pipes with? I was going to but then forgot in the excitement of putting on new pipes. Don't remember where or what the stuff is called. They claim it prevents blueing completely. FYI, I've got almost 37,000 miles on my bike and the blueing shows just below my first pipe cover coming from the heads, that's without any coating.
Once I upgrade my motor to 95" and go complete retro with the spring solo seat and new paint, I intend on either getting the flex pipe covers or go with the header wrap on the pipes so I'm not worrying about the coloration right now.

With Vance & Hines you shouldn't have to worry about coloring either

Forgot to mention....J & P Cycles sells the S-330 true dual pipes (Headers no mufflers) they are $469 instead of paying $580 for the S-230 which is the 00 - present Header pipes listed on the Samson site. These are not yet listed on Samsons site. I'll keep you posted on what I get.

Also on Ebay, you can get the whole setup for $489 free shipping. I just checked it out and typed in Harley Samson Fishtail.

I got my Samson S-430 pipes samson s-430 I paid under 500 dollars including shipping for the whole set up. Great company to work with I had the pipes within a week.

I havent had any problems with these pipes. No problems within blueing or a glowing pipe. The sound awesome.

Did you check out the S-430 pipes on Samsons website. I run those pipes and no complaints. The pipes have a baffle but they have a great sound.

I really wanted the thicker mufflers so I got the headers and the mufflers seperate....
Liked the look a bit better. The S-330s are the S-430s without the baffled straight pipes.
A little more expensive but....
