I have the HD multifit overnight bag which mounts over the back rest and sits on the rack. It will hold a change of clothes, laptop, toiletries, and lunch and not much else but works well. Got it on ebay.

For some reason, I just think the RK hard bags don't look right on the FB, too big or something. Don't think they look bad, but that's just my take.

Okay, have to admit I like that setup. Must be the front fender/headlamp combo that makes the bags more proportional and *****, or something.

I have Fox Creek Fatboy bags on my Fatty and I think it looks fine. I plan to modify them so that they can strap to the struts, sit lower and so that I can run a solo bag most of the time. I barely ever use the exhaust-side bag.

Raaaa... she looks clean from the rear....those fillers between the fender and bags really clean her up..

it is an 01 fatboy with 06 deluxe tins and 09 roadking hard bags and 08 street glide rear tri-bar facia

thanks, if you ask me it is the only way...I do not like looking at the mounts for the bags.
