Why is no one pissed they discontinued the night train?
I mean it did start the blacked out trend we have now, why do you think they got rid of it? I can't believe it was bad sales....

I liked them, and owned one too. Trends come and go and it was looking tired. They dropped the Softail Standard after the 07 model year and the Night Train was the same bike with drag bars and things blacked out. Maybe they could have freshened it up some instead of dropping it, but I think it was time to do something with it. IMHO

I believe it will be back, they took the Wide Glide out for a year and now it is back. I believe that in 2008 the only WG you could get was the 105th anniversary edition.

I think the " Bad Boy" started the blacked out theme. Night Train had a good run. No model lasts forever.

I like them too. Was going to buy one then the Bones came out. Went with the Bones because it felt more comfortable to me when I first sat on it. I hope they bring them back.

I love my 08, so unless they roll out with a Rocker / Train combo, I'm good to go. Maybe a Rocker / Train / Crossbones hybrid, yeah, that's the ticket!! LMAO
