I think he woulda bent that rim regardless of what springs he had the bike.

That being said I dig your bike regardless of where or how the forks sit.

IMO our bigger and more pressing issue than the fork spring lowering kit is these cheap chitty *** rear lowering kits we have. Unless you have something other than what I have which is a set of cheapo Ness bolts. The rear suspension on mine is hot garbage. Matter of fact it borders on dangerous as I have been spat up 6"-8" inches outta the seat when hitting a big dip at Hwy speed.

Seriously we need to get a group buy deal going on some quality air ride systems that dont leak or break our bank accounts.....Unless youre already riding on air?

But you asked....So I offered up my thought.

He has the same air ride I have, Hi-Lo. I agree with the front getting dropped.

I like your bike just as it is! There has to be some little stuff that needs to be chromed???

I run the Hi Lo air ride as does my bud who bent his rim. Who knows the specifics as I was not there. I would get a group but together, but since they are not a forum sponsor it is not possible on the site. When I do my auto primary chain tensioner I will be adding chrome bolts to that. there are plenty of bolts and such that need to be swapped with chrome. I am not putting on rear axle covers as I hate removing them when I change tires. Just a PITA and not worth the extra work to me anymore. I started on teh sporty by adding some wild one drag bars, and relocating the signals, but I have to keep it so my wife can ride it and will be comfortable. next is to get the mounting hardware for the saddlebags I got her. It's time for service on both of them too. That ought to keep me buys for a day or two.

I suggest you to do nothing to the bike, spend more time riding, it looks damn good as is, even the vivid black looks great on your bike, a custom paint job might be a bit too much for your bike. Again, this is my S opinion, cheers!

And you guys are happy with the Hi-Lo? Or is it lacking in some way?

I gotta get out of the cave with this crappy bolt kit on my rear. Rode 125 miles up the mountain to cripple creek yesterday and with all the construction and dips and stuff I got spat up outta the seat a few times doing 65-70. I hate that feeling with extended foward controls! Its unfvcking natural!!

Think I'm gonna commit myself and get serious about doing the air ride.

OK....What about the HD Low Profile console?

They are trick Anubissss!!
