Default Roadhouse Brand Exhaust

Does any body know anything about Roadhouse Systems Classic 2 into 1 Exhaust. I was all ready to buy the V&H 2-1 Pro Pipe and then they showed me this Roadhouse System 2 into1. They have a more nastalgic look to them vs the Pro pipe. I'm riding an 05 FLSTCI with bags and like the look of the 2 into 1 but most are more sporty looking until I found these. Does anybody know how sound or know if they are a quality exhaust?

There was a bike at the ROT Rally this weekend with that pipe...sounded funky,
not at all like any other 2 into 1 on a Harley. Can't really explain it but it did sound
funny to me.

I've got the Roadhouse pipe on my 2005 Deluxe. I really like the look of the pipe, ultra retro! I get lots of people chasing me down to talk to me about this pipe. I have installed other pipes on big twins, but this was by far the most challenging. The sound is not anywhere as loud as a V&S Propipe, but it is a nice mellow sound, I like it. I have run this pipe for 1 1/2 years now approx 7,000 mles. I repacked he muffler this past winter because I had the can off to get replated. (small scratches from the wifes boots). You can get optional baffles, perhaps I could consider the "performance baffle" it would be slightly louder. I wrapped the two head pipes with header tape, under the stainles steel flex pipe covers. This helps reduce the heat on your legs. "They say" (who the "F" are they) that the header tape increases the exhaust gas velocity thus improving the performace achieved by the 2 into 1 pipe. Long story short. I love it, lots of others seam to, some don't. Do what you want. Lots of luck...ride safe!
