Wow you guys are hard on tires or love to do burn outs! I have 13K plus on the stock 200 tire on my softail custom and I hope to get atleast another 3 0r 4 thousand miles out of it. My friend just changed his out at 19,000 miles.
I got exactly 10,000 out of my 200 metzler. I can not push it anymore than that. I got the same out of my stock tire. I did a few burnouts here and there on both tires. No major burnouts but enough to make people notice.
i changed my rear tire at 6000 miles. it was pretty shot by then. as a matter of fact the only reason i changed it was because got pulled over for loud pipes and the cop busted my chops about the tire. had to get a baffle and a tire....

I guess I must ride hard. In the 5190 miles that wore out my original tire, I never did a burnout and never slid or spun the rear tire that I'm aware of. My background is in motocross and 600 Super Sport racing though.... I try to remember I'm on a 750lb cruiser! Really, I think the original tire missed a step in the curing process or something. We'll see how long the 2nd Dunlop lasts.
How are they holding out? Found one on Ebay for $85.
That's a good price, I rode it once before I came back over here to Afghanistan, so I haven't found out how it's going to wear.... But it did seem to handle better then the stock 200.
