Default My new Springer

Just got a Heritage Springer. My 1st softail, very nice ride and drive. I can't find a seat to satisfy me. After about 50-60 miles I'm ready for break. Tried the touring seat that came on the bike, its hard as a rock.I bought an original seat solo seat,a deluxe seat and a tallboy seat. I've been on a Road Glide for a couple of years now and had several other bike before that. Can't get the right fit on a seat yet. I'm tired of buying seats. I like to find a seat to move back about a inch but not raise me up to much, like the tallboy seat does. I wish there was someplace I could try before buying them. Here a couple of pixs. Thanks for listening.

I had a Springer Classic but the seat was pretty comfortable for me. Have you considered having the seat reworked by somebody like Mean City Cycles?

You could get the rail and pad for the solo seat, although the seat itself will still be like a rock.

I bought the pad but after I got the seat and it didn't have the rail I decided not to spend anymore on it. Thought about sending the touring seat to mean city but I had a local guy reshape the Ultra seat and hated it. I'm tired of spending money on seats. Getting frustrated but may try a sundowner someday. Have 1 for the Glide and its ok. I think the stock seat on the glide is just as good for me. Its my woman that likes the sundowner better.

Congrats on the new bike. The Heritage Springer is absolutely one of my favorite bikes Harley has ever made. Hope the seat hunt works out for you.
