Installing should be cake except for needing to re-map. Unless you have a commander and can program it yourself right? I had to map after I put on my Hookers and they recommend re-mapping after doing anything to your air/fuel.

Can I install and then ride to HD dealer for them to re-map or does it need to be re-mapped before any riding at all? About how much $$$ for a dealer to re-map?

I installed my Hookers at the house and rode to the dealer. It ran a little raspy, kackled a bit but was ok. I would asume it would be the same for a new AC, atleast thats my plan for when I get one. You can save a lot by throwin it on yourself. I think the re-map was about 100 bucks. I have heard good things about the power commander. Does anyone have one? And can you re-map fairly easily via laptop and avoid the dealer all together? I have found power commanders for around 300, but for the dealer to get it, put it on, and tune it, it was up to almost 750 if my memory serves me right. I hear they put a tiny, gold, four hundred dollar turd under your seat so the stealership fairy will visit you. Totally worth it.

I have been seriously looking at this one... let me know how it fits....
I was thinking about getting a sheet of the green air filter foam and squeezing it in between the mesh and filter housing... does it look like it would work??

my current filter (RSD Venturi) gets dirty pretty quick!
I would hate for all that junk to get inside my motor....

Let us know!

BTW the RSD Venturi is a good looking option....
