Default LED Fuel Gauge

I have a 2006 Heritage Softail. I'm trying to install the 75087-04 LED Fuel Gauge.

All the connections have been made, and are tight. The gray wire has been routed to PIN 9 in the speedometer housing. The low fuel light within the speedometer still illuminates. Am I missing something with the installation?

yes.. take it out and put a cupholder in it's place...

no HD gas gauge ever works. I have an LED and it's a POS!!!

take it out get your money back and buy something that works.. like oil and a filter or footpegs or something.

do you have gas in it? LOL

Had a LED one on my RKC and it worked great for 3 years until I sold the bike. No problems and was pretty accurate. I did not install it tho, the dealer did.

I have flush mounts and they do look cool, the fuel guage is just as good as the stock one, they are both off the same which tells me the float in the tank is messed up but not worth the effort to have repaired. I just use the tripmeter like the old days.

I did mine mainly for the clean looks and wouldn't change them out. Even with the stock gauge I relied on the trip and still do.
