Thanks for all of your feed back. After reading and thinking I am not at a point to sell my bike after putting all my hard earned cash into it. Maybe a little change in something might do the trick.

Make one of these outta it!!
Or this
What I'm trying to say is maybe the whole chopper pro-street look isnt working out as you thought it would?
Cut and run the other way. Put that pro-street glitzy chopper stuff for sale in the classifieds, craigslist or e-bay and turn the page.....
I think you can sell it as a custom bike but in this economy it will probably take a long time. Start with a price you think is fair and see what activity you get. Try lowering the price a few times. If you are in a hurry then I agree - put it back to original and sell the parts. Oops just saw your post you're keeping it. It looks great.
Now you have the right attitude. With that said, now you should put it on craigslist for whatever you wanted to get which includes the money for your mods. If someone thinks it's worth it, send it down the road. Craigslist is free so just keep running it. Since you're willing to keep it, you can't lose listing it for free with the possible chance of someone giving you what you want/need to get your new wheels. The longer it takes, the sweeter the deal gets for an 09. You win in the end by not being in a rush.
