Put 'em in my '08 Fatboy and yanked of the ugly wheel weights. Smooth as silk. Install was very easy; just go SLOW when pouring them into the valve stem.

I will never go without them in the future. Great product.

Default Dyna Beads

I currently have them in the front tire of my 07 Fatboy. Had to put two new tires on the bike this summer.......dealer did the front and I'm going to do the rear in the spring (or warm weekend day). I only have about 1K miles on the front with beads but so far no problems.

The smoothness from the ride is incomparable to anything else I have tried.

I just put some in my front tire. Went to pull off the weights and there are no weights anywhere on my wheel. I thought that was pretty odd. Anyway looking forward to the test ride.

BTW, I used my Sonicare tooth brush to help speed up the process. Worked great.

I like the electric toothbrush idea. Probably works just as well as an engraver, plus cordless.

I've been running the beads in my Ultra for about a year now and they have worked great for me so far. I'm using 3 oz. in the rear tire and 2 oz. in the front.

Do these require a different valve stem on a tube tire? I need to find some online but would get the other parts at the same time if needed/

No. All you need is a valve stem remover and the dyna-bead kit. It is also helpful to take weight off of the tire so it does not collapse. You should also check how much wheel weight you have on the tire before you order. If you have more than one ounce, I would consult the Dyna-Beads dealer. In general they recommend putting in one ounce in the front tire and two in the rear.

Here is how I did it:
1. Placed bike on lift-jack and raised it just enough to take the weight off of the tires.
2. Rotated front (or rear) tire so that the valve stem is at the bottom.
3. Using a valve stem tool, remove the valve.
4. Using the kit that came with my Dyna-Beads, attach bottle containing the beads to the valve stem.
5. Slowly trickle the beads in one or two at a time. As you do this you can speed up. DO NOT JUST POUR THEM IN AS THEY WILL BLOCK UP THE TUBE. Some people will run a dremel or engraving tool next to the vavle stem to shack the bead in. This speeds up the process. It will take all of ten minutes just trickling them in.
6. Once all the beads are in, reinsert the the valve and inflate the tire to recommended pressure.
7. Repeat for other tire.

Once you have completed the above, you should be able to remove your wheel weights.

It is really simple. Hope this helps.

Just make sure when ever you check your tire pressure have the valve stem at 12, 3 or 9 oclock if you have tire turned with the stem down at the bottom when you check pressure the dyna beads can get stuck in the valve and cause a slow leak. We've used dyna beads for the last 6 yrs in all of our bikes
