I agree , I have owned a lot of Harleys and my 2010 Heritage is the smoothest Harley I've owned. Find another dealer, because that one probably never even rode a Heritage.

Now that I have riding the bike with my punched out stock mufflers, I still want more sound. I'm looking at Bub 7's. Anybody know anything on these mufflers??

My '08 Softtail shakes on deceleration between 35 and 40 mph if you turn loose of the handlebars. It did not do this until the 10,000 mile check up at the dealership. Their answer was to not turn loose of the bars. Good answer but it did not solve the problem of why the frontend now shakes. I looking at buying a new tire but still think the dealership made a change.

DB-Adjust your steering head bearings. They are loose.Mine did the same thing.Snugged them up and the shake was gone.

Snugging the bearings is probably OK for the short term but I was amazed at how detailed the procedure really is. Raise the bike and point the wheel straight and put a piece of tape on the nose of the fender. Put a stationary pointer and mark the center. Turn the wheel slowly to the right until it "falls off" on its own. Mark the point of "fall off". Repeat on the left. There are specific distances for whether you should tighten or loosen the bearings. I dont have those in front of me at the moment but I'll dig em up if you're interested.

I did the fall away procedure in the shop manual. The dealer adjusted them first and had them way to tight. It was like the bike had a mind of its own.Scary.

Your dealer is FOS. Did they at least test ride it for you?
