Anyone w/ Apes on a softail

I have 16" Wild Ones on my bike, see sig.
If I were to do it over again, I'd go with the Carlini Gangsters because even with my Wild Ones tilted forward, it feels like they are a bit too close to mt chest. I think the Carlini's would be more comfortable for me since I have kind of long arms being 6' 2".
