Default Need help installing hard saddlebags

For $1300 I got the HD matching color hard saddle bags for my new 2009 softytail custom. The installation instructions are ****. I got bags of nuts bolts but no parts list of where they go.

A $100. Walmart special build your own entertainment center made in China has better installation instructions & every nut and bolt identified. It's sad HD gives this kind of **** instructions after spending $1300.

So if anyone has ever taken the tiime to identify the parts and have some better instructions I would be greatfull. There are only 3 brackets but 100 bolts.

thanks

Jeff

They do this so you'll take it to the Dealership and pay $90 an hour for one of their certified HD Techs to install them for you, it's called ADP (additional dealer profit).

Go back to the dealer and have them print off instructions from their database for you -

Most of the H-D chit I've bought for my bike always had good instructions. I agree with BigMike17. Go back and tell them you need a parts list and installation instructions. If they try to get you to let them install them tell em they can have them back and order a set from someone else.
You pay that much for a set of bags they oughta send someone to your house to put them on for ya and fix you breakfast when the guy's finished.

I'd be there asking for something free. Imagine that.

You misunderstood me sir! I was saying that Harley should send someone to his house, install the bags and fix HIM breakfast for $1300.00
