Before I added my springer forks to my nightrain, I took apart my frontend and had my lowers powdercoated. My local guy did a crap job, they looked ok for a bit, but there was a little orange peel on em and an air bubble in one spot. I was pretty unhappy with the job.
If I had it to do again I'd just go to a better powdercoater, or I'd rattle can em myself with some etch primer and then good paint.

what ever you do, make sure you do everything else that is powder coated related the same way. what i mean is if you do the lowers with a guy, make sure you do the tripple trees with him as well. I have seen to many bikes that do the work with diferent people or places and the blacks don't match

Hey raaaa,

Where are your rear turn signals? And can you ride your NT with it slammed like that? BTW, you have good taste in colour!

I did have rear turns but did away with them..

yes you can ride with it slammed I have and it is not bad at all, but there is no reason tooo, when I am around town I slam the bike down then when I hit the high way I raise the bike up.....when it is parked I hit the button and it drops

P.S. you taste in color is way better than mine
