Put it down today

Damn Sully!!! Thank god you are OK. An engine guard and floorboard isnt nothing. A foot or a life on the other hand....
Man I'm starting to hate our town. This is becomming way to common. I'm sick of how the folks around here have an absolute reckless disregard for our safety and then wont even stop to assess the damge or havoc they may have caused.
Northside I assume?

Hmmm....Lately I have had the ******* at lexington and Woodmen kinda where the road construction squeezes everything into one lane. Hate it up there nobody looks or cares. Hence the Airhorn is often deployed!! Premature deploylent at that..
Thats the good part of the story!!
I just picked her up, and rode her home

After getting home and conducting a thorough inspection, the damage is minimal. I'll likely have to replace the engine bar down the road. It got some rash and is bent a little. The floor board is scratched, but no one will ever see it. My exhaust has a flat spot on the bottom. Man, it could have been so much worse. I am thankful to be okay, and learned a valuable lesson today; Keep an eye out, and always assume that no one sees you.
Thanks again for the kind thoughts and reassurance. It really helped to calm me down. I've decided not to tell the wife. No sense in getting her all worked up over it.
I'm gonna have a few beers. CHEERS!
