Has any body fabed-up their own side mount license plate bracket??

 

I have made acouple side mounts that consist of welding to tapped bungs on the swingarm which makes the tag bracket detachable. I will take some pics of my new one tonight and post'em up for you. Its preety indestructible to.

took some 3/4 round bar put some heat to it and smashed it in a vise




mounted to the bungs, detachable for easy access to axel etc.

Im going to my buddies tonight to tig it up then throw some spray paint on it and I will take some completed pics when all said and done

Its going to be acouple days im waiting on my new swingarm to come in. its suppose to be here friday and I gotta work my 2nd job all weekend, plus still waiting on acouple washers from hd. Will post them up when its done.

 

Here it all mounted up, this bitch is rock solid and I already had somebody rub it and cut there leg. Maryland finally came out with smaller tags so I will be cutting it down this winter to fit the new tag.

 

Very nice, I got started on mine last night. I will be leaving for Sturgis on friday and not get back to Fla. till 27th of Aug. so I will try to finish it when I return. Thanks for the pics and ideas, ride safe.
