Does the lowering kit allow the rear to come up more where as its a problem on all Rocks that has been lowered if they bottom out? 1st time I've heard of this.
Or do you mean this was other than while riding it.?

If it happened while riding, it's on you. even if they installed it. They mearly put the part on you wanted, the side effect of you bottoming out is on you.

If they did it while installing the lowering kit, it's on them and make them replace it.

I have a lowering kit ,but haven't put it on. I already drag my pegs and primary when riding hard.

The dealer is going to tell you that the lowering kit is a modification requested by the owner. Then they are going to pull documentation showing that the lowering kit does not fit the FXCW Rocker or Rocker C. Any modifications to the bike that changes the stock configuration IS the responsibility of the owner.

I recently tried to order a painted part (COZ) for my Rocker C and was told by the dealer and local parts distributor that painted pieces for the Rocker are obsolete and unavailable from HD. You will have to order the primed piece and pay to have it painted.

Chicago HD lists the price of pt#60185-08COZ at $511.20 and availible to order.

Or you can keep searching for a local painter that can fix it cheaper.

Sorry about your luck, of course your insurance would also cover it.

I feel that the only way the dealer is responsible is that they are installing a kit that they approve and support. If they are installing something in the shop then they need to stand behind whatever follows be that good or bad.
Were I the dealer, I would not be using this kit after an issue like this. They do need to take responsibility for what they installed.
