Power Commander on 2008 Heritage
Hello
I need your advice. I drive a European Heritage from 2008.
with pipes from Kess-Tech
http://www.kess-tech.de/usa/product_...ts_id=40704054
Next i like to install the Hypercharger as a optical Gimmick.
Now i like to install a Power Commander. Officially the 2008 Heritage is supported only by the PCIII USB (Dynojet) but Fuelmoto offers the PC-V as retrofit for the 2008 Heritage. Which one i should choose. As far as i understand the advantage of the PC-V is that he is able to load 2 maps . What i read is that Jamie from Fuelmoto supply many maps and give warranty on the retrofit.
I am really not sure which to buy.
Thank you

Im not informed on using the PC V on anything other than the 2009 models but if Fuel Moto is reccommending it I would trust Jamie he has a great reputation and they stand behind their sales.
I have a question for you, on the Kess tech website it has a price of 1959.00 for the slip on mufflers is that dollars or euros and either way thats crazy expensive compared to US prices

Yes the prices in Europe are crazy. I pay for mine 1577 Euro. It is due to the german law which limits the loudness of the bike. If we run the bike with open pipes we are not allowed to drive on the streets only on race tracks. When it is closed the bike sounds like **** but is allowed on the streets. Most people run open. If police checking them they can close it pay a fine and finish. In the South Part of Germany it is more strict compare with the North Part (where i live).
