Hi, there are lots of different springers out there, cheap to very expensive ones. The genuine HD are no longer sold alone. They are made of great quality, but you have to look for it....
The you'll have to change everything (brakes, fender, wheel, risers, handlebars). It's gona cost...I am also looking for doing the swap...I am looking for parts right now. Good luck and please let us now if you had any luck...
Greetings,
L

I think that a springer on a Deluxe would look kick ***! I priced out a new springer front end from Harley and it was over $3000.00. However, from a $ stand point it would probably be better to sell the Deluxe and buy a Springer. A good springer from Paucho, Redneck, or V-Twin is going to cost close to 2K by the time you add in risers, wheel spacers, etc. If you have someone else do the install, my guess would be over $500.00 in labor. You could offset some of that cost by selling the Deluxe front end on Ebay or Craigslist, might get a couple of hundred for it.

I've thought the same thing. I think it would look awesome, but like everyone else here, the money gets me everytime.
