Default What a day!

Hey all. Well, I finally got the pillion struts back from the chromer this week. It was such a beautiful day today, I decided I couldn't wait any longer to get them on there, and take the wife for her maiden voyage on the Rock. We had a blast! And since I've been on here a few months, and had yet to post any pics, I snapped a few. Enjoy!

Right on.. looks good.. It seems she would sit a little high, does it feel weird as far as the balance of the bike?

It does seem to be a bit high, but if she's comfortable and it handles OK, go for it.
Otherwise it looks better than the stock setup.

Kinda reminds me of those seats guys put on their choppers back in late 60's and early 70's that were so tall. If its comfortable go for it! I guess Im getting old. I find myself going for comfort more these days. Thats why I went with the Road King. For cool factor I ride my softail. You can see it on my profile. :|

Thanks guys. Yeah, she does wind up kinda up there, but she's kinda short, so it works out pretty well. It was a choice between that and nothing, since she quickly vetoed even getting on it with the stock "seat". The balance takes some getting used to, but I think that's mostly because she hasn't ridden in a long time, and is fighting it a bit. I even think it looks pretty cool, definitely has that vintage vibe, back when they had the huge sissy bar seats. As for comfort, my seat is way more comfy than the stock C one, and hers, well, we rode for 3 hours without complaint. All in all...mission accomplished!
