You turn the ignition key to accessory, press and hold the "trip" reset button until the odometer reads "color", release the button, and then click the trip button until you find the color of your choice.

No night shots yet. Reading is easy as I have a 2½” tank lift and the speedo/tach sits higher.

Yeah, I think the first one is the only one of the two that lets you choose different colors though, which I would like to have also. I will have to check out the site where you purchased yours, maybe I can get one cheaper through them too.

That IS badass, but unfortunately, it won't fit the Rocker.... The Rocker requires the 4" and this only comes in 5".
