Default New wheels for my Fatboy

I picked up a set of wheels for my Fatboy on Craigslist. They came off of a SE Fatboy. They have less than a 100 miles on them. They are the chrome solid FB wheels. They also have the solid rotors and pulley. They are being put on right now. I'm looking forward to getting it back. With the chrome wheels and new tires, I should be in good shape for awhile (yeah right). I'll be glad to get rid of the plain cast stockers. I also picked up a set of the HD script axle covers to clean up the bolts. I'll post some photos today when I get it back.

Your bike will look great, its always cool to make some changes , theres always someting to spend $ on with a HD.
You can always sell your old wheels on E Bay or C List to recover some of the cost. From your sig you have the 05 Fatboy is it the Anniv Edition (95 ci, painted oil tank and Anniv Emblems on the gas tank, not decals, and on the timing cover and ign switch) ? If it is your wheels would be chromed in the center hub and outter edge and should sell easily. If they are the Avviv wheels pm me I may have a buyer for them.

it is the 15th AE, buts its the 88ci version. Plain old cast wheels. I got a great deal on the new SE wheels. I couldn't pass them up. When I got my bike, I had the fork chromed, and ever since the wheels have been driving me crazy.
This bike has quickly become an obsession, and a money pit. I wouldn't have it any other way! I plan to put the stockers up for sale. Thanks for the feedback. I love this forum. Great group. I'll post some pics when I get her back.

its going to look good, are they chrome or spun aluminum wheels? I know what you mean about the chrome sliders. After I changed the front end to chrome, the wheels looked like crap.Let me know what your get for the stock wheels I have a set sitting in storage off my 06 fatty.
Post a pic when you are done.

Well I got the new wheels, tires, pulley, rotors and axle covers put on. Rode about 200 miles yesterday, and it felt great. Thanks for all the feedback.

Nice Kill on the wheels Sully.

Way to represent the 719' North-East Siders!

That made living off Powers sound tough and hard. Yeah....Right.
