I wanted to see how the customization was going. I was a little disappionted to see that it hasn't gotten that far yet. The guy there says everything is almost ready to be put on the bike, and once it is, it will only take a few days to put it all together. Right now, this is what is on the bike...keep in mind, A LOT of stuff has yet to be changed. There will be a lot more copper, brass, pin striping, and new air intake and rear fender.

This is the seat I had made. There is also a matching tank bib that says Cross Bones.

Brass and Copper will look great on the bike. I like the teaser pics can't wait to see how good the final product is... They figure next weekend?

Well, I figured last weekend, so I decided to stop figuring. lol.

What do you guys think about this, we were going to put on a black old school air intake, but today he asked me if I would rather take the RSD intake I have and make all the chrome parts on it gold, like he did with the RSD covers.
I said I think that would be too much gold, but he said the exhaust will cover most of the timer cover, so it will be much more subtle than it looks now. I told him I would think about it, but I am still leaning towards old school black air intake. What do you think?

Im not to familiar with what the intake looks like in person but basing this on the picture I would brass color what looks like bolts around the intake and call it good.. You want it to look like it belongs but not to where everything is the same color...IMHO... by the way your scoot is going to look killa....

Wow, the color looks great!! the bike is gonna be sick! I would go old school black so, like u said, it won't be too much gold.
Can't wait to see finished product!!!

I would just make your RSD entirely Black ie powdercoat the whole thing. I agree that would be a lot of gold. But looks killer so far!
