Default CVO parts

So anyone know if the CVO Softail Springer with the 240 rear will carry over to an 07 FXST?
If the fram is the same it looks like you would only need the swingarm, fender, supports, wheel, tire (since axle is different) not sure if the pulley on the trans is off set. Anyone looked into this?

Based on a unique frame design with wide, fully polished and chrome-plated swingarm, fully polished chrome cast aluminium oil tank and a host of premium components and accessories, the CVO Softail Springer stands alone in the factory custom category

Artical

I don't think its going to bolt on to an 07.

Heartland would be a lot cheaper. And there's a potential catch involved too when you start looking at parts off of CVO bikes.

You can go to your dealer and flip through the CVO parts catalog for the Springer. I have done this as I own an 06 FXSTS and wanted some specific parts off a CVO Springer.

What I learned was that some of the parts you can order no problem and then others require an exchange or proof of CVO ownership. HD will only sell certain parts if you provide them the old/broken/OEM version first. This is predominantly for the branded CVO stuff but not everything must have a logo on it to be protected like that.

The other issue is price. Because you are buying from the parts catalog you aren't buying kit components. For example, say you want to buy the chrome dashboard. You'll need to buy the dashboard, mounting bracket, individual screws, etc, all separately. CVO parts don't come as complete kits with all the pieces like stuff does in the standard accessory catalog. The reason is simple, the parts catalogs are there to ID parts replacement due to loss or accident, not accessory augmentation. Buying parts piecemeal like that adds up fast.

That all sounds like PITA and HD being butt heads and you are right. But that's the point. If everyone could part together or clone a CVO bike, what would be the point of owning one? They are very special and very limited for a reason. And that reason makes them very expensive.

I forgot to type in the swingarm. Thats the obvious one.
I like the fender since its still a boat tail but with a little attitude. I guess you could get the hartland kit and get the HD CVO fender, if they sell it. But the hartland kit comes with a fender so you would have to try and sell that. O WELL.
