05 Heritage Springer
I just bought a 05 Heritage Springer and it sure is springy. I love the style of the bike and I don't really mind how bouncy it is but my wife doesn't like it much. I only have 187 miles on it so far but I was wondering if the ride will smooth out after a while? Is there anything I can do to make the ride smoother?

Hey, Welcome Aboard!! You will find this to be a great forum!
You might try swapping out the front springs to a progressive rate / dual rate type that is softer for small bumps and gets stiffer the more they are depressed. I think Works Performance has at least on set on the market for your bike.

Congratulations on the new Springer! Great classic look. Remember though, they stopped making Heritage Springers in '03. You have a Springer Classic. Amazing that even the dealers a lot of times aren't aware of that distinction.
Maybe you just have to get used to the ride? You'll probably learn to love it.

RE: 05 Heritage Springer
Welcome good to have another Springer driver on board, I just picked up mine last saterday and love it. I havent noticed any abnormal bounce with mine it rides great much better then my first one a 93 FXSTS. But like Springer said try youre dealer Ive never seen it happen but maybe you got a bad front shock thats the only thing that I can think of that would make it bounce. Let us know what you find out and don't forget post some photos we like pic's here.
