When I was trying to find this out for Cameron, I found out that any tire can be made into a white wall through a process called vulcanization. No, it has nothing to do with Mr. Spock. It is a process where the white wall is heat bonded to the rubber in the tire. It is a custom job, and you will pay more for it than a tire off the rack, but if you really want it, it can be had.

I had some clown ask me if my tank shifter was real, I said no, as I put it in first gear and left. Dumn ***, you can see the linkage goes directly to it. Why don't people think before they speak.

Coyote, this has been a problem that has plagued humanity. I have four kids two girls and two boys. The girls are "chatty kathy" and I think that may be socially accepted to a point. But for guys, well we all know it can get your teeth knocked out. I am trying to teach them to listen, watch and then talk only when it is really needed.

Got to admit that whole Foxworthy "Here is your sign" chit was funny though!

If people would ONLY speak when it was necessary, that would be wonderful, so much chit is said that shouldn't be said or isn't friggin' needed. People just like to hear themselves speak, even if is not worth speaking.

Don't know if anyone pointed this, but mooneyes make whitewall trim for normal black tires, I think it is a cheap cool idea, you can try that too, I am not sure it will work on 'radials' but radials are never white wall anyways.

Here is the LINK

from the site
"

An affordable and simple alternative to full-priced white wall tires are these Port-O-Walls, also known as White-Ribbons or Whitewall Toppers. Made completely of durable soft rubber, this simple addition drastically changes the appearance of your ride. Easy to mount, no special skills or tools needed.

They are held in by place by air pressure from the tire and the bead of the rim. The inside edge of the Port-O-Wall is pressed on the lip of the rim causing it to lay on the tire.

Available in many sizes and widths.
Customize your ride today!

The following are for motorcycle
WW1408MCEA > 8" . . . . . $10.00 each
WW1410MCEA > 10" . . . . . 12.50 each
WW1412MCEA > 12" . . . . . 14.00 each
WW1413MCEA > 13" . . . . . 14.00 each

Thumbs up

Since I've never found any whitewall tires for my X-Bones, I had to sell it and had a new bike built for me with whitewall tires :
